Terms and Conditions for Booking, Training and Qualifications

Booking, deposits and payment terms, cancellation and refunds, attendance and certification, intellectual property and liability for Consoul Ltd training.

Booking, Deposits, and Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total course cost is required at the time of booking to secure your place on a course or qualification program.
  • Payment Deadline: Full payment of the remaining course fee must be settled no later than 4 weeks prior to the course start date. Failure to settle fees by this deadline may result in the forfeiture of your place and retention of your deposit.
  • CMI Registration: For accredited qualifications, learner registration with the awarding body (CMI) is submitted 2 weeks prior to the course start date upon receipt of full payment.

Cancellation, Refund, and Deferral Policy

  • Cancellation by the Participant:
    • More than 6 weeks prior to start: Cancellations receive a full refund of any fees paid, minus the 10% non-refundable deposit.
    • Within 6 weeks of start: If you cancel within 6 weeks of the start date, the 10% deposit is retained. Any remaining balance paid will be refunded via the original payment method within 14 days.
    • After the 2-week pre-course mark: Once a learner is formally registered with CMI (2 weeks prior to start), awarding body registration fees become non-refundable.
  • Cancellation or Rescheduling by Consoul Ltd:

In the event that Consoul Ltd must cancel or reschedule a course, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to the next available course date at no additional cost.

  • Transfers & Deferrals:

You may request to transfer your booking to another eligible individual or defer to a future course date, provided Consoul Ltd receives written notice at least 2 weeks prior to the course start date. Transfers are subject to approval and CMI registration constraints.

Change of Learner Status & Qualification Extensions

  • Notification: Participants must notify Conrad Mepham-Stone in writing immediately regarding any change in status, including name/contact updates, employer changes, withdrawal, or requests to pause studies.
  • CMI Status Reporting: Consoul Ltd will update CMI via Partner Connect within 5 working days of any confirmed status change.
  • Qualification Extensions: Requests for extending qualification expiry deadlines due to long-term illness, redundancy, or extenuating personal circumstances will be managed under the Consoul Ltd Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration Policy and submitted to CMI for approval.

  • Assessment Standards: Qualifications are awarded strictly based on meeting the required Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria set by CMI or Consoul Ltd.
